Find your calling at Mercy! The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care. Position Details:

Position Description: Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist

Location: On-Site
Type: Full Time - DaysSchedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00pm

On Call: One weeknight per week, One weekend per month

Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist Ladder Movement:


Associate Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification
  • Experience: no experience required.
  • Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.


Advanced Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.


Senior Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: ARRT (R) and one advanced registry (CI or VI) or RCIS or ARRT (R) and 5 years relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
