What are Sprint Contractors?

Sprint Contractors are professionals or companies hired on a temporary basis to complete specific projects or tasks for Sprint, the telecommunications company (now part of T-Mobile). Their work can range from network installation, tower maintenance, and technical support to project management and IT services. Sprint Contractors typically work under a contractual agreement for a set period or until the project is completed. This arrangement allows Sprint to access specialized skills and scale their workforce based on project needs.

  • Document workflows, process models, data needs, interface requirements, user roles, permissions, reporting requirements, and system behavior.
  • Collaborate with Appian developers, SharePoint developers, database engineers, and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are feasible, traceable, testable, and aligned to mission outcomes.
  • Support data validation, migration, reporting, and interface analysis related to financial management, contracting, acquisition, HR, or business operations processes.

  • Prepare briefings, meeting notes, decision logs, user guides, standard operating procedures, training materials, and other documentation to support deployment and sustainment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, help desk staff, and government stakeholders using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration platforms.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 3 years of business analysis, requirements analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, product support, or related experience.

  • Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, test cases, or other delivery documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes, backlog management, sprint planning, release planning, and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, functional users, project managers, and government stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and issue-tracking or Agile tools such as Jira.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Experience conducting stakeholder workshops, process reengineering sessions, or requirements discovery sessions for application development teams.
  • Experience supporting data modeling, data-interface requirements, reporting requirements, dashboard needs, or data validation activities.
  • Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, release readiness, training, and user adoption.
  • Familiarity with BPMN, process mapping, wireframes, mockups, functional decomposition, traceability matrices, or related business analysis artifacts.
  • Appian Analyst, Appian training, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, or related certifications are a plus.
