Job description

An established fire protection company is looking to add an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to its team. This position offers the opportunity to lead installation projects, supervise field personnel, and play a key role in delivering quality fire protection systems for commercial and industrial customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on sprinkler installation experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing crews, coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and lead fire sprinkler fitters and apprentices on job sites
  • Plan, layout, and oversee fire sprinkler system installations according to project specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and hydraulic calculations
  • Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and material requirements
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local fire codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
  • Assist with system testing and final inspections
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sprinkler installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Knowledge of sprinkler installation methods, materials, and tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
