Locum Interventional Radiologist – Springfield, OH

Are you an experienced Interventional Radiologist seeking flexible, immediate assignment opportunities? Join a leading facility in Springfield, Ohio, for in-person coverage starting August 2, 2026. Location: Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield, OH

Start Date: 08/02/2026

End Date/Duration: Ongoing/intermittent as needed

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Night Call 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM; Weekend Call 24 hours

Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule

Employment Type: Temporary/Locum

License/Certs: Ohio medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology

Experience: Preferred 1+ years in Interventional Radiology procedures

What You'll Do

  • Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, port catheter placement, biopsies, drainages, ablations, and kyphoplasty
  • Provide in-person consultation and intervention services at Springfield Regional Medical Center
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Document procedures accurately in EPIC EMR system
  • Cover on-call duties as scheduled, including night and weekend shifts
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols

What You Need

Required:

  • Ohio medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
  • Proven experience in angioplasty, embolization, biopsy, drainage, ablation, and kyphoplasty procedures
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and other relevant certifications

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of recent IR procedural experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
