The Seasonal Maintenance Specialist- Part Time role is a position that moves our mission forward and helps change lives. 


The Role - Seasonal Maintenance Specialist- Part Time 

The Seasonal Maintenance Specialist assists the property team performing routine cleaning, exterior cleaning maintenance, and grounds work such as mowing and trimming.
This is a part-time role working 20 hours week April through October.


What you will be doing: 

  • Clean and stock lodges, seasonal sites, shower house, Gathering Place, and other areas as assigned.
  • Assist with routine exterior maintenance such as cleaning gutters and pressure washing buildings.
  • Assist with groundwork such as mowing, trimming, cleaning up grounds, splitting and stocking firewood.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining pool.
  • Assist with camp seasonal equipment such as putting up/taking down tents, maintaining program equipment, and other work as assigned.

The skills you skills you will use: 

  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, stand, and move to perform a variety of task.
  • Ability to use ladders, walk on wooded and rough terrain.
  • Experience and training with power equipment such as power tools, power washers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, mowers, UTVs, and other equipment used in camp operations.
  • Flexible schedule during Spring and fall and weekend hours during summer camp operation.
  • 1+ years' experience in maintenance, janitorial, or grounds work.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility. Willing to learn and follow GSGCNWI operating procedures.
