Job Description
As a Security Officer Transit Enforcement in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for passengers, employees, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document activities using available technology. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance and documenting activities as required.
  • Monitor access points, pedestrian traffic, and restricted areas; assist with directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
