Job description

LOCATION: The Southwest territory, includes Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Southern Nevada. We prefer a candidate who is based in the Greater Denver area.

Join Natera's Head & Neck Oncology histology team as a Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS). In this high-impact, field-based role, you will drive the adoption and growth of Signatera, Natera's personalized molecular residual disease (MRD) ctDNA assay, helping clinicians monitor cancer and inform treatment decisions throughout the patient journey.

As a trusted clinical and commercial partner, you will build strategic relationships with key stakeholders across academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, hospital systems, and community oncology practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally to expand access to Signatera while partnering with Radiation Oncologists, ENT/Otolaryngology physicians, Head & Neck Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

We are looking for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop expertise in Natera's oncology portfolio, clinical data, reimbursement landscape, competitive positioning, and internal processes. 
  • Identify and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic medical centers, hospital systems, and community oncology practices to drive adoption of Natera's oncology portfolio. 
  • Engage H&N oncologists and other healthcare professionals through consultative, clinical discussions that support the adoption of Natera's oncology diagnostics. 
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to identify growth opportunities and influence key clinical and administrative stakeholders. 
  • Achieve sales objectives and drive growth within the assigned territory. 
  • Maintain accurate territory activity, customer insights, and sales forecasts while identifying risks and new business opportunities. 
  • Conduct all business activities with integrity while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, preferably within Head & Neck Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
  • Knowledge of the academic and community oncology landscape, including molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, and reimbursement. 
  • Experience calling on Radiation Oncologists, ENT/Otolaryngology physicians, Head & Neck Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, or other Head & Neck oncology stakeholders preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, business acumen, financial management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed.
