Job Title: Internal Medicine Job Location: Gaylord, MI Relocation: Yes Salary: Competitive Job Description · Joining busy full time traditional Internal Medicine office practice joining three physicians and three nurse practitioners, rotating as a hospitalist when on call. · Additional interests will be considered as an addition to general internal medicine services. · Functions as a hospitalist caring for inpatients, responsible for admissions of unassigned patients, ED consults, ICU management, inpatient stress testing, and reading EKGs, Echos.

Choice of seeing patients in the office when on call · On call stipend FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS • Hospital is a progressive JCAHO accredited, community hospital that operates 3 rural health clinics and maintains high standards for the quality of staff and patient care. • 46 Bed acute care facility with 34 bed skilled nursing unit attached. • Average 5-8 patient admissions a day, with 15-18 average daily inpatient census, which includes FP, IM, Peds, Surgery and Orthopedic patients. • 24 hour physician staffed Emergency Department • State of the art facilities with recently renovated patient service areas in 2006, including the Surgical suite, Laboratory, Radiology with large bore MRI and 64 slice CT scanner, Rehabilitation Services, and more. • Quality conscious staff and proactive administrative team provide an excellent working environment. • Physicians practice broad based medicine and enjoy a wide variety of cases due to the minimal amount of subspecialties on site but locally available for consultation. • Hospital operates the Medical Group, MedCare Walkin Clinic, OMH Montmorency Medical Clinic, which are also certified rural health clinics, as well as OMH N’Orthopedics, OMH Oncology/Infusion Center and partners with Gratiot Community Hospital in Dialysis Services of Gaylord. • Intergy Electronic Medical Record is shared with group and hospital’s Meditech system. • Hospital serves nine communities in two counties with a service area of approximately 40,000. • Specialty services, such as OB/GYN, General and Orthopedic Surgery draw patients from well over a 100-mile radius. • Hospital offers full benefit package and compensation including 2 year guaranteed salary with ability to convert to productivity based incentive pay that allows physicians to earn much more.
