Job Summary:
Sell and cash Race and Sportsbook tickets; ensure regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions:
• Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board.
• Sell and cash tickets; sell Racing Forms and collateral literature.
• Ensure that wallboards and handouts are updated with current events, point spreads and odds.
• Develop relationships with guests; meet or exceed current Peppermill Guest Service
• Standards, including friendly greeting, meaningful eye contact and sincere thanks/goodbye.
• Authority:
  • Draw bank roll.

Marginal Functions:
• Monitor facility for cleanliness and supply inventory.
• Audit electronic wallboard for accuracy and proper function.
• Ensure that TV monitors offer appropriate entertainment products.
• Recommend procedures to improve operating efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Some prior experience in cash-handling positions preferred.
• Written and verbal English language communication skills
• Keyboard data entry skills
