We're looking for a Sportsbook Ticket Writer who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent guest service, and working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for guests, processing wagers, educating patrons on betting options, and ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and in compliance with gaming regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process sports wagering transactions in accordance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and house rules
  • Issue, redeem, and reconcile sports wagering tickets, vouchers, and promotional credits
  • Balance and maintain an assigned imprest bank during each shift
  • Follow proper cash-handling procedures and safeguard company assets
  • Assist guests with sports wagering kiosks and the interactive sports wagering platform
  • Explain betting rules, wagering options, odds, and lines in a clear and friendly manner
  • Build positive relationships with guests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Promote Players Club enrollment and Sportsbook promotions, contests, tournaments, and special events
  • Create and maintain accurate player tracking information
  • Monitor and communicate patron wagering activity in accordance with operational procedures
  • Verify patron identification and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Sportsbook area
  • Assist with the safety and security of guests and Team Members
  • Adhere to Internal Controls, Kansas Gaming Regulations, Title 31 requirements, the Responsible Gambling Plan, and the Voluntary Exclusion Program
  • Maintain strong knowledge of sports wagering products, marketing promotions, and property events
