ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
  • Appear in publicity photos.
  • Promote casino events and programs.
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
  • Take drink orders, communicates with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks and present drinks to guests.
  • Handle money according to procedure; operate cash register, take money, make change, and make deposits at the end of shift.
  • Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Ability to count money and change correctly
  • Knowledge of tray service cocktail ingredients and/or prior server experience preferred
  • Ability to earn and maintain ServSafe certification
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
