SUMMARY

The Server is responsible for providing attentive and accurate food and beverage service by taking guest orders, submitting them to the kitchen, and delivering the correct dishes and beverages in a timely and professional manner. This role plays a key part in creating a positive dining experience while maintaining company service standards and safety policies.

  • Deliver internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system

  • Communicate menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods clearly to guests as needed

  • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy

  • Perform all duties in a polite, professional, and responsible manner

  • Monitor guest behavior and immediately alert management of intoxicated, unruly, or disruptive guests

  • Enforce minimum age and responsible alcohol service policies at all times

  • Assist with overall dining room operations, including cleaning, bussing, resetting tables, restocking menus, and rolling silverware

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation in compliance with health and safety guidelines

  • Attend departmental and company meetings as required

  • Perform all job functions in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures

  • Addtional duties as assigned

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 to 3 years of high-volume service experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol and food service certification
  • Point of Sale, cash/credit handling experience required
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
