OVERVIEWย 

Working within Sportradar's newly formed Rights & Partnership Protection (RPP) team,ย theย Partnershipย Protectionย Specialist will serve as a key liaison between Sportradarย and major sports rights holders acrossย North America.ย 

The roleย is responsible forย supporting the protection,ย enhancementย and operational effectiveness of Sportradar's sports partnerships through a combination of field operations, intelligence gathering, stakeholder engagement and investigative activity. Acting as the regional subject matter expert, the specialist will attend sporting events throughout North America,ย monitorย market activityย impactingย rights holders, and provide actionable intelligence that strengthens the value and integrity of Sportradar's partnerships.ย 

The position requires an experienced and highly motivated professional with a strong understanding of the North American sports ecosystem, sports bettingย marketsย andย partnership-related risks. The successful candidate will work closely with rights holders, security teams, internalย stakeholdersย and international counterparts toย identifyย emerging threats, malicious actors and global trends affecting the sports data and betting landscape.ย 

This role will play a critical part in ensuring Sportradar's rights partnerships continue to deliver value, remain protected from misuse, and evolve in line with an increasingly complex global betting environment.ย 

THE CHALLENGEย 

  • Act as aย keyย operational liaison between Sportradar andย allocatedย North American sports rights holders.ย ย 

  • Attend sporting events throughout North America to support rights-holder operations.ย ย 

  • Build andย maintainย trusted relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, venueย operatorsย and other key stakeholders.ย ย 

  • Conduct intelligence-led research into market activityย to understand and analyseย actorsย impactingย rights-holder interests.ย ย 

  • Identifyย emerging risks, trends and operational vulnerabilities affecting Sportradar's rights partnerships.ย ย 

  • Conduct investigative research using open-source, commercial and industry-specific data sources.ย ย 

  • Lead and support digital evidence collection relating to sportsbook activity, betting markets, predictionย platformsย and other relevant digital environments.ย ย 

  • Develop intelligence holdings relating to individuals, groups and networksย operatingย within the sports betting and data collection ecosystem.ย ย 

  • Collaborate with Rights & Partnership Protection colleagues across Europe toย identifyย global trends, organised networks and syndicatesย operatingย across multipleย jurisdictions.ย ย 

  • Analyse information received from rights holders and transform operational reporting into actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations.ย ย 

  • Produce regular intelligence products, stakeholderย briefingsย and operational assessments.ย ย 

  • Deliver season-long reporting for partner organisations, including pre-season risk assessments, in-seasonย updatesย and post-season reviews.ย ย 

  • Support rights holders in developing operational best practices to enhance data collectionย hygieneย and partnership performance.ย ย 

  • Plan and deliver educational workshops and awareness sessions for leagues, federations, venue operators, securityย personnelย and other stakeholders.ย ย 

  • Support SRAD and other internal stakeholders by providing intelligence and operational insights that strengthen existing partnerships and support future rights opportunities.ย ย 

  • Contribute to the development of global Rights & Partnership Protection methodologies,ย processesย and operational standards.ย 

YOUR PROFILEย 

  • 3+ years' experience in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, dueย diligenceย or a related analytical field.ย 

  • Demonstrable investigative mindset with experience conducting intelligence-led enquiries and research.ย 

  • Strong understanding of the North American sports landscape, particularly:ย 

  • NBA / Basketballย 

  • MLB / Baseballย 

  • NHL / Ice Hockeyย 

  • Good working knowledge of tennis and soccerย (MLS), including associated betting markets and operational environments.ย 

  • Experience analysing information from multiple sources and producing concise, actionable reports and assessments.ย 

  • Understanding of sportsbook operations, sports bettingย ecosystemsย and associated market participants.ย 

  • Ability toย identifyย emerging trends, behaviouralย patternsย and networked activity across complex environments.ย 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.ย 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.ย 

  • Comfortable presenting information to senior stakeholders and external partners.ย 

  • Experience delivering training,ย workshopsย or educational presentations.ย 

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.ย 

Advantageousย 

  • Experience working directly with professional sports leagues,ย federationsย or rights holders.ย 

  • Experience attending and managing operational activities at live sporting events.ย 

  • Experience conducting OSINT, CYBINT/DNINT or digital investigations.ย 

  • Existing professional network within North American sports,ย bettingย or security sectors.ย 

  • Understanding of sports data rights, bettingย rightsย and commercial partnership structures.ย 

  • Experience supporting or managing strategic partnerships within the sports industry.ย 

  • Awarenessย of data collection operationsย duringย live sports events.ย 

  • Additionalย language capabilities, particularly Spanish or Portuguese.ย
