The Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is part of Turf Tank's Sales department and will report to the Business Development Manager. The BDR's main function will be to generate and nurture leads, maintaining a strong pipeline for our Regional Territory Managers. Your primary focus will be promoting Turf Tank’s robot in sports organizations all over the United States.

The BDR is critical to the success of our sales department, as it initiates the first contact between Turf Tank and potential customers. The success of this role will be measured by booked product demonstrations.

What You’ll Do
  • schedule product demonstrations from qualified leads, keeping a strong pipeline
  • execute outbound prospecting, making 50+ calls per day
  • follow up on inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, and campaigns
  • manage your assigned territory’s CRM database
The Business Development Representative must be able to….
  • collaborate cross-functionally to maximize sales opportunities
  • consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs
  • be an engaged listener
  • work independently and be a team player, driven by self-motivation and competition
  • use Microsoft and Google suites, using them interchangeably
The Business Development Representative must have….
  • strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or related roles; outbound prospecting is a bonus
  • experience with CRM tools
  • a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Requirements
  • overnight travel is required up to 30% of the time
  • day travel is required up to 20% of the time
  • work in our Omaha NE office 5 days per week
  • general work hours are 8am - 5pm
  • possess a valid driver's license
  • must pass a background/MVR and drug screen before the start date
  • maintain eligibility for Turf Tank's fleet insurance
  • physical requirements required of standard office environments
