Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Action Officer to join our team, dedicated to supporting complex military and NC3 operations. Electronic warfare background preferred . Must have an understanding of radio frequency fundamentals and wave propagation. In this pivotal role, you will lead strategic planning, coordinate joint operations, and provide expert guidance on a broad spectrum of NC3 activities. Your expertise will directly contribute to national security initiatives by ensuring seamless integration across multiple agencies and operational domains. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Duties

  • Overseeing implementation of procedures for strategic NC3 operations in alignment with strategic objectives
  • Provide expert NC3 knowledge and experience to support mission success
  • Conduct nuclear assessments on USSTRATCOM NC3 operations at various installations to produce actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Support military operations through detailed planning, situational assessment, and coordination with mission partners
  • Facilitate communication between different operational elements to ensure synchronized efforts in NC3 operations
  • Understanding of radio frequency fundamentals and wave propagation

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience working in NC3 positions, including NC3 plans and policies, overseeing implementation of procedures to enhance survivability and endurability, and performing associated command, control, and communications functions
  • Electronic warfare background
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience working on a command staff, including either combatant command or Service command, and executing NC3 planning functions
  • Experience managing data, including prioritizing shortfalls to identify high risk issues to missions
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time to support on-site assessments worldwide

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NC3 communications system operations
  • Experience overseeing or managing readiness of operational units and reporting capability shortfalls
