Location: Lake Orion, MI
Pay: $18-20/hour
RIPIT is looking for a Procurement Specialist to source and acquire Pokémon, trading cards, and sports cards. This role is ideal for someone who knows the TCG and sports card markets, stays up to date on product releases and pricing, and enjoys finding great inventory at competitive prices.
Responsibilities
  • Source Pokémon, TCG, and sports card products from distributors, retailers, collectors, card shows, and other suppliers
  • Research market prices and identify strong purchasing opportunities
  • Evaluate inventory based on condition, demand, rarity, and current market value
  • Monitor new releases, trends, and changes in the collectibles market
  • Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms with sellers and suppliers
  • Track purchases, costs, quantities, and inventory
  • Identify products with strong resale potential
  • Research local and online sourcing opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and sellers
  • Work closely with the Ripit finance team to ensure we are purchasing the right products at the right prices
What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of Pokémon, TCG, and/or sports cards
  • Understanding of card pricing, market trends, and product demand
  • Strong research and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and online marketplaces
  • Ability to quickly evaluate whether a purchase makes financial sense
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Previous procurement, purchasing, retail, collectibles, or inventory experience is a plus
  • Willing and able to travel
