JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Marketing Manager for Shopper Marketing & Sports Partnerships will lead the development and execution of 7-Eleven's comprehensive Sports strategy and verification initiatives while supporting the execution and verification of Shopper Marketing and Vendor Partnership programs.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager of Shopper Marketing & Sports Partnerships, this role serves as a critical liaison between internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, and agency partners to build and execute impactful consumer activations that drive brand engagement and business results.
This position requires close collaboration with the Insights team to translate consumer behavior data into actionable marketing strategies and program verification frameworks, while partnering with agency and analytics teams to define measurement strategies and deliver results reporting to key stakeholders.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the strategic development and end-to-end execution of 7-Eleven's Sports partnerships strategy, including activation planning, implementation, and performance verification.
  • Support the execution and verification of Shopper Marketing programs and Vendor Partnership initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Merchandising and Operations to ensure seamless program integration and execution.
  • Partner with the Insights team to analyze consumer behavior data and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies, program enhancements, and verification methodologies.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agency partners to develop and execute innovative consumer activations that drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
  • Define measurement frameworks and KPIs in partnership with agency and analytics teams to track program performance and ROI.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting and presentations to communicate program results, insights, and recommendations to marketing leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee program verification processes to ensure marketing initiatives are executed according to plan and deliver against established success metrics.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent programs and partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for program optimization and innovation based on performance data, market trends, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Coordinate cross-functional approvals and ensure all marketing materials and activations comply with brand guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Support the development of annual marketing plans, including budget planning, calendar management, and resource allocation for Sports and Shopper Marketing initiatives.
