UFC's Internship Program is open to any student who is currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. This is an on-site, in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV. UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.
Important Dates
  • July 1st: Fall Internships will post externally.
  • July 24th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
  • July 27th - August 14th : The interview and selection process will take place.
  • The program will be 12 weeks in length: August 31st - November 20th

The Role and What You'll Do:
UFC's Internship Program is designed to provide interns the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained through their academic experience in a real-world corporate setting. Over the course of the program, the interns will become fully immersed in the daily operations of their department and will be directly involved with tasks and projects that contribute to UFC's continued growth.
UFC's Internship Program is open to any student who is currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. This is an in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV. UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.
  • Monitoring and Assessment Support: Assist the Sport Science Department with various monitoring and assessment tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Planning and Preparation: Aid in the planning, preparation, and calibration of testing equipment and evaluation activities to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Intervention Implementation: Implement monitoring and assessment interventions as needed to support research and performance goals.
  • Data Management: Handle data processing, maintain databases, and perform data analytics to support the department's objectives.
  • Laboratory Maintenance: Ensure the laboratory and its equipment are clean and hygienic, adhering to all safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Inter-disciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technical areas to meet the sport science requirements of the organization.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess new technologies and innovations within the sport science field to enhance departmental capabilities.

  • Educational Pursuit: Must be enrolled in an institution of higher education pursuing a degree relevant to the internship.
  • Residency: Must be currently living in the United States.
  • Work Ethic and Detail Orientation: Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Data Skills: Strong data management and analysis skills.
  • Testing Protocols: Ability to deliver a variety of physiological testing protocols and follow methodological procedures.
  • Independent Work: Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned tasks and deliver outcome goals effectively.
  • Athlete Focus: Strong desire to work with elite combat athletes.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience working with athletes in weight-categorized sports is desired.
