SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Community Programs of DotHouse, and working with program partners throughout DotHouse, the Recreational Program Associate will supervise traffic in the gym, and youth space at the Dothouse Health facility located at 1353 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA. Responsibilities include the supervision and safety of program participants, assistance in the coordination of health, wellness, life skills, exercise, and sports programming, and ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Requirements
Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with urban youth in a diverse setting, one year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is a plus.
  • Evening and weekend availability is a must.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
