Position Title:
Assistant Softball Coach
Job Description:
Reporting to the Head Women's Softball Coach, the Assistant Women's Softball Coach supports the daily operation of the NCAA Division I softball program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice and game execution, student-athlete development, recruiting, program operations, and administrative duties while promoting a positive team culture. The Assistant Coach is expected to comply with all NCAA, conference, and University rules and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Coach with the daily operation of the softball program.
  • Assist with practice execution and provide on-field instruction.
  • Ability to consistently throw quality batting practice.
  • Manage video operations, including filming practices and games, operating game-day camera equipment, and organizing film through Synergy Sports.
  • Assist with the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA regulations.
  • Coordinate team travel
  • Supervise student managers and assist with game-day operations.
  • Support camps, clinics, fundraising initiatives, alumni engagement, community outreach, and social media efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with all NCAA, conference, and University policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Softball Coach.

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Successful collegiate coaching and/or collegiate playing experience desired.
  • Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
