Job description

Champion Your Future with Tarkett Sports! Build your career with a world leader in sports construction and surfacing.
We're looking for a hands-on SAP Data Manager to lead all data workstreams for our multi-phase SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. You'll build the data framework from the ground up, run migration cycles, enforce data quality, and keep the program moving. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, ERP Transformation and partners closely with IT, our System Integrator, and business leaders across Manufacturing and Construction.
If you want ownership, visibility, and the chance to shape how data lives in SAP for years to come - this is it.
The position is remote to the United States, preference in Georgia, Atlanta and requires heavy travel in Canada and United States.
Born from an entrepreneurial spirit and driven to find better solutions, Tarkett Sports challenges the status quo and continues to change the game for athletes and facility owners-pioneering innovations that have reshaped entire industries. From architectural design and full-scope construction to a comprehensive portfolio of industry-leading sports surfacing solutions, we lead with passion, pride, and purpose.
Trusted at every level, from professional stadiums to local community venues, Tarkett Sports is at the surface of over 80,000 installations - highlighted by projects in NFL, CFL, MLS, and at renowned NCAA division I programs.
Join the team behind renowned names like FieldTurf, Beynon Sports, ClassicCourt, GrassMaster, Tarkett Sports Indoor and Tarkett Sports Construction. Help us build the next world-class venue.
Why This Role Matters:
You'll be the person who ensures data doesn't become the bottleneck - but instead becomes the backbone of a successful S/4HANA transformation. High ownership, lean team, direct visibility, and the chance to build something that lasts.
What you'll do:
  • Own the Data Migration Program

Lead end-to-end migration activities across all phases. Define strategy, extract from legacy systems, execute loads (LTMC/LTMOM), and ensure quality + sign-off for every object.
  • Build the Data Framework from Scratch

Create standards, templates, cleansing rules, and validation criteria for all master and transactional data.
  • Manage Master Data Lifecycle

Oversee Customer, Vendor, Material, COA, Cost Centers, WBS, Plant/Storage data - ensuring everything is fit-for-purpose before entering SAP.
  • Ensure Phase-to-Phase Continuity

Maintain data integrity, manage delta loads, track open balance migrations, and prepare the data foundation for each phase gate.
  • Drive Accountability Across SI + Business

Review SI templates, validate transformation logic, challenge assumptions, and build data ownership within the business without overwhelming operational teams.
What you need for success:
  • 7+ years hands-on SAP data migration experience, including at least one full-cycle greenfield project

  • Deep experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM)

  • Strong mastery of key SAP domains: FI, MM, SD, PS

  • Experience migrating open items and balances (AR, AP, GL, PS/MM commitments)

  • Working knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud data structures

  • Understanding of SAP Activate phases and data sequencing

  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivots, profiling)

  • Background in Manufacturing or Construction is a strong asset

  • Experience operating as a solo or lean-team data resource

  • Bonus: SAP BODS/Information Steward, ETL tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, BTP), Big 4/SAP consulting background, PMP

  • Travel: 50-75% - Canada and United States

What you can expect:
  • A culture built on teamwork, respect, and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Leadership that invests in your growth and career development

  • Opportunities to take on new challenges, cross-train, and expand your skillset

  • Recognition and rewards for your contributions and achievements

  • A fast-paced, sports-driven environment where your work makes an impact
