Motion Health PT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. In this full-time position, you'll work directly onsite in a hospital setting, contributing significantly to patient care recovery plans. As a PTA, your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) in administering customized therapy sessions that enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function for our diverse patient population.

The work setting is onsite in our dedicated orthopedic outpatient clinic located within a leading hospital. Here, you will interact closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including PTs, occupational therapists, and medical personnel, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant, you will take on a range of vital responsibilities, including:

• Implementing individualized treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists, tailoring interventions based on patient assessments.
• Guiding patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, active stretches, and functional training regimes to aid in their recovery.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques and evidence-based modalities to enhance pain relief and mobility restoration.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient progress and behavior, facilitating effective communication with the broader healthcare team.
• Educating patients and their families about ongoing therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to continue benefits outside clinical sessions.
• Contributing to case discussions during team meetings to collaboratively refine and elevate care strategies based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Providing encouragement and support, creating a positive and motivating environment throughout the patient’s rehabilitation process.

Our facility focuses primarily on orthopedic rehabilitation, catering to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role will enable you to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, ranging from active professionals to older adults seeking to regain their mobility. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing our clients' overall quality of life through supportive recovery practices.

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, showing empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment details and progress to patients and team members.

Your expertise as an Orthopedic PTA will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses. Additional benefits include:
