About the Role
The Senior Programming & Development Manager, Twitch Rivals will be a competitive entertainment expert who is passionate about creator-focused content. You can derive insights from data sets and trends that influence a content strategy and framework, and are comfortable having content development conversations with some of the biggest creators, brands, and publishers in gaming

You will report to the Director of Production and Events, and will coordinate closely with our current content, sales, business development, and community teams.
You will follow gaming trends, define key elements needed for event planning, collaborate with diverse teams, build on our partnership with game publishers, get stakeholder approval, provide direction to vendors responsible for the production of each broadcast, and produce post-event reports. You are a passionate community member for a few games, understand broad gaming mechanics, competitions structures, and can pick up a new game and understand how it could translate into a Twitch Rivals competition.
You Will
- Develop and program the Twitch Rivals calendar and help produce competitive entertainment that is exciting and satisfying to creators and the gaming communities they love
- Assist in the development of the Twitch Rivals program strategy & ensure the execution is aligned
- Review event data and present opportunities for improvement to the team
- Work with production vendors to ensure they are building events based on pre-determined priorities (publisher, streamer, brand)
- Write and manage event briefs to ensure the Community Originals team has all the most up-to-date information on a show
- Work with Business Development, Marketing, Partnerships, Public Relations, Broadcast Operations, Analytics, and Sales teams
- Work with Amazon Sales to build pitch decks for brands interested in partnering with Twitch Rivals
- Build relationships with Game Publishers to guarantee a continued mutually beneficial partnership
