REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

Crown Sports Center is a managed facility by Sports Facilities Management, LLC, a Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) company. SFC is the nation's leading resource for managing and developing sports, recreation, wellness, and events facilities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial health, organization, and accountability of Crown Sports Center.

The right person will:

  • Take full ownership of financial operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Operations & Reporting
  • Own all day-to-day accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger)
  • Manage monthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Produce weekly and monthly financial reports with clear insights for leadership
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all accounts
  • Monitor cash flow and identify potential risks or inefficiencies
  • Ensure all billing, invoicing, and collections are handled accurately and on time
Payroll & Compliance
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule through HRIS systems
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain proper documentation and financial controls
  • Work with leadership to ensure all financial practices align with company standards
Budgeting & Strategy
  • Assist in building and maintaining budgets
  • Track performance against budget and identify gaps
  • Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency
  • Support leadership with financial insights for decision-making
Operational Support
  • Maintain organized systems for all financial and administrative processes
  • Support leadership with reporting, tracking, and special projects
  • Help create scalable systems as Crown continues to grow
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience (AP, AR, payroll, reporting)
  • The right person can be trained under our current Finance Manager 
  • Strong experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch errors before they become problems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
