Description
The Assistant Softball Coach is responsible to assist the Head Softball Coach for the management and administration of all phases of a sports program. The Assistant Softball Coach is expected to adhere to the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics.
Actual salaries will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to degrees attained, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. Comprehensive compensation details, including any additional benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
Responsibilities
- Student-Athlete Development: Assist the Head Coach in developing student-athletes academically, and athletically, including providing and encouraging leadership development opportunities, and educational programming and activities.
- Practice Organization: Assist the Head Coach with scheduling, planning, and conducting regualr practice sessions as permitted by compliance.
- Recruiting: Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment and selection of prospective student-athletes while working with the appropriate athletics administrator and adhering to compliance.
- Administrative: Assist the Head Coach with administrative duties including but not limited to home and away event management, scheduling of contests, equipment and uniform purcahse and maintenance, and compliance.

- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
- At least 1-3 years of work-related experience Required
- Current and valid CPR, First Aid, EAD certificates Required
