They design training programs tailored to individual or team needs, focusing on areas such as strength, conditioning, agility, nutrition, and mental resilience. These coaches often collaborate with other professionals, like athletic trainers and nutritionists, to create comprehensive development plans. Their goal is to maximize athletes' potential while reducing the risk of injury and improving overall well-being.

Collaboration with other coaching staff—such as head coaches, physiotherapists, and nutritionists—is common to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development. Regular meetings and open communication are key, as the Sport Performance Coach integrates physical training with broader team strategies and health considerations. This collaborative environment allows for tailored support that addresses both physical and mental aspects of performance.
