The HINATH:AFSAfter School Events team member works within the HinkleyAthletics department to ensure smooth operation of all afterschool athletic events and activities. This role involves setting up and running concessions, managing gate access, coordinating game managers, maintaining official scorebooks and game clocks, and providing general logistical support to coaches, students, and spectators.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in sports event support, concessions, or hospitality.
  • Ability to lift 50lb and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tracking.
  • Familiarity with common sports rules and terminology.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Team player who can work independently when needed.
  • Set up, operate, and break down concession stands during events.
  • Manage gate entry, ticketing, and crowd flow for all afterschool activities.
  • Coordinate with game managers to ensure proper staffing and equipment.
