About Nexus Sports Ventures

Nexus Sports Ventures is one of the leading youth enrichment organizations serving Long Island and Eastern Queens. Through Soccer Stars, Amazing Athletes, and Karate Zoo, we provide sports and movement-based programs that help thousands of children build confidence, develop new skills, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Business Development & Partnerships Manager to help drive our next stage of growth.

About the Role

This is a highly visible position responsible for growing revenue through strategic partnerships, business development, enrollment initiatives, and commercial strategy.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you'll work across every area of the business-from developing new partnerships with schools and community organizations to evaluating marketing performance, improving customer retention, and identifying new growth opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Partnerships
  • Develop new partnerships with schools, preschools, PTAs, parks & recreation departments, camps, soccer clubs, and community organizations.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Strengthen existing partner relationships while identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Represent Nexus Sports Ventures throughout the local community.
Revenue Growth
  • Support revenue growth across Soccer Stars, Amazing Athletes, and Karate Zoo.
  • Develop initiatives that increase enrollment, improve retention, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze pricing, promotions, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth.
Marketing & Customer Experience
  • Collaborate on seasonal marketing campaigns and enrollment strategies.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Support customer retention, referral, and re-enrollment initiatives.
Strategy & Operations
  • Work directly with the President & CEO on strategic initiatives and business growth projects.
  • Improve CRM management, forecasting, reporting, and commercial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and AI to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, strategy, marketing, or commercial operations.
  • Comfortable building relationships with executives, school leaders, and community partners.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, and able to balance strategic thinking with execution.
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Experience in youth sports or education is a plus but not required.
