What will I Do?

You will work for one of Utah’s most recognizable sports + entertainment brands, with a great team, creating lasting impact for our guests and partners!

The Partnership Marketing Manager works in conjunction with the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships to manage, implement and oversee the execution of assigned partnership contracts and proposals. They are responsible for executing contracts and maintaining relationships with existing clients. They will also manage game presentation activities and oversee outside contractors involved in the design and production of partnership fulfillment assets. The role champions the company’s Mission and Vision and models the company Values.

The position will:

  • Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company.
  • Exemplify the company values of Stewardship, Integrity, Hard Work, and Service.
  • Strive to achieve the company’s mission of Enriching Lives and the company’s vision of being the best place in town to work and do business.
  • Manage execution and implementation of multiple partnership elements, including radio, internet, signage, print and event marketing.
  • Properties within the scope of this position include Salt Lake Bees, The Ballpark at America First Field, Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals FC, America First Field, Real Monarchs, Zions Bank Stadium, Zions Bank Training Center, and Megaplex theatre locations.
  • Foster and cultivate existing relationships with current partners.
  • Ensure sponsorship budget and profitability is reviewed and met.
  • Manage all Corporate Partnership inventory within the current CRM, Salesforce/KORE.
  • Build and maintain activation sheets for each assigned partnership account.
  • Manage and oversee relationships of outside vendors contractors involved in the production of partnership assets.
  • Compile and present partnership asset performance data for each assigned partnership account.
  • Conduct mid-season reviews and end of season reviews with all existing clients to ensure contract success.
  • Assist with the development of pitch presentation decks.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Partner related trips, events and gifts (i.e.-VIP Trip, Partner Luncheon).
  • Communicate, promote, and manage activation execution of Summer Soccer Series and other partner related events.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, communicate and manage Game Day activities and activations for all sports properties, including: i.e.-Plaza Activations, Concourse
  • Activations, Pre-Game Ceremonies, Halftime Presentations, Post Game Celebrations and Partner Hospitality Functions
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to lead and manage cross functional staff (Although this role has no direct reports, management experience preferred)

  • Experience in partnership marketing/service, brand marketing, sponsor marketing, sports property, agency, event marketing, advertising and/or promotion
  • A record of successfully providing client service and contractual fulfillment for multiple accounts with a history of delivering a return on their investment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Skilled problem analysis, problem solving, and decision-making abilities

What is the wage?

We aim to hire at a level that allows for meaningful salary growth as you thrive in your role. We generally offer a starting rate that reflects your current expertise while leaving plenty of room for future advancement. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $55,000-$78,000.
