Job Summary


Business Development Manager

Location: Based in Stoney Creek, Ontario (with responsibility for Western Canada)  

Travel: Approximately 30%  

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager for a newly created dual product category role focused on expanding our clients business across Canada. This position will report to the COO, and will play a vital role in driving business development for the HVAC commercial industrial sector, and hospitality.

Role #1 Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and implement strategic business development plans for patio heating products across Canada.

·      Identify and engage potential clients in the hospitality sector, including bars, restaurants, sports facilities, and arenas.

·      Foster relationships with existing and new clients to promote their luxury outdoor heating solutions.

·      Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.

·      Manage sales processes and utilize CRM tools to track performance and client engagement.

·      Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and promotional efforts.

Role #2 Key Responsibilities

·      Focus on Manitoba to BC for industrial heating products

·      The role involves finding new stocking points for HVAC commercial / industrial product lines.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the HVAC or related industry.

- Strong knowledge of outdoor and radiant heating products and relevant market dynamics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment.

- Candidates must be local to Ontario, with the ability to commute to Stoney Creek and travel approximately 30% of the time.

Compensation:

- Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure based on year-over-year growth.

- A car allowance will be provided, along with coverage for rental cars and flights for travel to Western Canada.
