Typically, sponsorship refers to financial or institutional support that allows the assistant to complete required training, licensing, or certification. Their main responsibilities include preparing patients for anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and supporting the anesthesia team throughout procedures. Sponsorship programs are common for candidates seeking to complete clinical placements or bridge programs, especially for internationally trained professionals.
