Senior Cloud Developer (SME),ย  Huntsville, AL Full Visibility is seeking aย Seniorย Data Engineerย to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidateย mustย possess anย activeย Top Secret/SCI Eligibleย clearance. The Senior Cloud Developer (SME ) will be responsible for design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions within AWS environments.ย  Will build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Packer to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Will Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to support automated application deployment, testing, and release management.ย  Will implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman, ensuring consistency across development and production environments.ย  Will deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services including S3, IAM, Route 53, EventBridge, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, Inspector, Trusted Advisor, ECS, and EKS. Will design and manage Application Load Balancers (ALBs), encryption solutions, and security controls to ensure compliance with organizational and federal security requirements. * Perform cloud infrastructure patching, maintenance, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation activities.

* Develop and maintain serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, SNS, and event-driven architectures. * Configure and support Splunk indexes, dashboards, and data ingestion pipelines to enhance monitoring and operational visibility. * Deploy and maintain Grafana monitoring solutions and Kafka messaging platforms to support enterprise-scale applications and data processing environments.

* Utilize Ansible Automation Platform to automate infrastructure operations, configuration management, and application deployments. * Implement AWS lifecycle management strategies using Data Lifecycle Manager and Recycle Bin services to support backup, retention, and recovery requirements. * Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, Inspector, and Trusted Advisor to ensure operational health, compliance, and security posture.

* Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity teams, and system administrators to support cloud modernization initiatives. * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across cloud and hybrid environments. * Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes orchestration platforms within AWS environments (preferred).

* Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams supporting cloud infrastructure and application deployments. * Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, compliance requirements, and organizational governance standards. Requirements Active Top Secret Clearance; This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

* Experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments in enterprise or government environments. * Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer for Infrastructure as Code and automation. * Experience building and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

* Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Podman containerization technologies. * Experience deploying and maintaining Grafana, Kafka, and Splunk environments. * Experience with AWS Lambda, SNS, and event-driven architectures.

* Strong understanding of AWS security, encryption, patch management, monitoring, and compliance services. * Experience supporting AWS services including S3, IAM, Route 53, EventBridge, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, Inspector, Trusted Advisor, ECS, and EKS. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container platform management.

* Experience supporting the federal government, DoD, or classified cloud environments. * Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and cloud security best practices. * Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical production environments.

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local market conditions, and candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
