Job Description
  • Be part of a Product Development Team developing innovative Premium and Free Splunk Apps
  • Use Splunk as the primary security platform for your work
  • Propose innovative uses cases for security and compliance
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports; create rapid prototypes
  • Keep pulse on cybersecurity trends, issues, and ideas
  • Find and propose emerging security solutions
  • Support high-profile clients in government and Fortune 1000 sectors, on site or remotely as needed

Qualifications
Experience
  • BS degree in a technical field preferred (computer science, engineering)
  • 2-5 years of windows and linux system administration
  • 2-5 years of commercial software development experienced
  • 2-5 years of experience with Splunk, SIEMs, and analytic security tools
  • Deep knowledge of information security, compliance, compliance frameworks, and/or networking
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, e.g., devices, OS, enterprise applications
  • Prefer some experience in network monitoring
  • 2-4 years of programming experience, e.g., Python, shell scripting, query languages, object-oriented development
  • Willingness to aggressively pursue Splunk and industry certifications
  • Willingness to support pre and post sales technical engagements
