Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java SDET to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in creating automation test cases using Core Java, RestAssured(Rest API's) & Selenium, ensuring maximum automation coverage for the functional testing for both UI and Backend API's.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure maximum automation coverage for the functional testing for both UI and Backend API's.
  • Create automation jobs for the test coverage and monitor failure and bugs.
  • Create automation Test plans, test scripts using TestNG / Maven.
  • Hands on Experience in Git, IDE's, gRPC, Postman, RestAssured(Rest API's), TestNG/Maven, TestManagement/DefectManagement Tools, SQL and NoSQL(Cassandra) DB's.
  • Strong knowledge on SQL Database.
  • Hands on experience with Splunk query's.
  • Report QA status to stakeholders on daily basis which project the quality of the product.
  • Maintain knowledge based on functional features for maintaining better project documentation.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Java programming.
  • Multi-threading.
  • Service Oriented Architectures and RESTful Services.
  • Scripting languages (Shell and/or Python).
  • Design and Develop testing strategies, infrastructure (tools, frameworks, reporting mechanisms) to test software and services.
  • Experience writing and triaging automated software tests (e.g., unit-tests, regression tests, functional tests, stress tests).
  • Integrate test suites and infrastructure with the CICD systems.
  • Experience in SQL/NoSQL technologies and Messaging Queues.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in creating automation test cases using Core Java, RestAssured(Rest API's) & Selenium.
  • Proven experience in SQL Database.
  • Relevant certification in Java programming and automation testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nice-to-have skill in Splunk query's.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
