Splunk Support Engineer:
• Overall experience of 10-12 years in installing and configuring Splunk forwarder on Linux, Windows servers
• Handling forwarders, forwarding different types of log files
• Configuring Indexers, Search Heads, Deployment/Management Servers, Deployment Clients
• Handling Indexer Clustering along with Search Head Clustering architecture
• License management (Master License, Pooling, Usage Report)
• Migrating entire Splunk environment during Datacentre Migration
• Creating and binding fields with Splunk Metadata using Regular Expressions
• Troubleshooting Splunk Admin tasks
• Forwarding data from different applications using Universal Forwarders, HTTP Event Collector etc
• Managing user settings, roles, and access management
• Building Splunk dashboards using XML
• Creating scheduled alerts for real-time monitoring
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for business requirements
