Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in our outpatient clinic in Lombard, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and new graduates looking for mentorship, growth, and a collaborative clinical culture.
Founded in 2005 by a physical therapist, Doctors of Physical Therapy is driven by a single mission: to consistently help patients achieve faster, long-term relief through evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs, establish goals, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver cost-effective interventions that enhance mobility and functional performance
  • Reduce reliance on medication and support non-surgical treatment options
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to support patient recovery
  • Design fitness- and wellness-focused programs tailored to individual needs
  • Provide high-quality, personalized, evidence-based care
  • Motivate and educate patients to help them achieve optimal functional outcomes

Requirements
Skills
• Proven work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Drive to continually learn and grow
• Professional behavior
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
• Graduate degree or greater in occupational therapy
Experience:
• Occupational Therapy: New grads will be considered.
• Strong splint skills a plus.
License/Certification:
• OT License
• CHT a plus
