Job description

Job purpose
A cash department lead handles all types of situations and scenarios throughout the day. They are able to seamlessly take over at any position within the department. They exist to help guests, and team members, in any way possible.
Duties and responsibilities
Must be trained in and able to perform the functions of the following positions:
  • Greeter.
  • Cash Attendant.
  • Main booth Cashier.
  • Guest Services Cashier.
  • Receptionist.

In addition to the above performs the following supervisory duties.
  • Working closely with the Point-of-Sales Director overseeing the daily functions of the department.
  • Assists Main Booth and Guest Services Cashiers in resolving sales issues.
  • Authorizes discounts and refunds in POS system.
  • Provides breaks to all staff as determined by Department Manager.
  • Supervising Main Booth and Photo Booth activities.

Comply with all policies and procedures of Funtown Splashtown USA
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the Department.
  • Maintain professional appearance following all uniform guidelines.
  • Attend all required department, interdepartmental, and park trainings.
  • You may be assigned to other duties as necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
  • Be at least 14 years old.
  • Be able to handle many tasks.
  • Be able to work many different positions.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Minimum of one year working in cash department of Funtown Splashtown USA preferred.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Working conditions
  • You may be in direct/indirect sunlight for long periods of time. We operate in most summer weather conditions and since you are often outside, and Maine weather is unpredictable, we ask that you dress appropriately and are prepared for light to heavy rain, changes in temperature, and humidity.
  • They work at many different positions during the course of the day.

Physical requirements
  • They must have the ability to carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Applicant should be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
