Job Title: AVL Solutions and Strategy Manager


Ministry/Department: Operations/Warehouse


Reports to: Logistics and Technical Operations Director


Status:Full-time, exempt

Objective

To support the continued growth of The Church of Eleven22 audio, video, and lighting (AVL) integration work by providing project coordination and business development support. This role partners with the AVL Systems Delivery Manager to execute church-side AVL projects, assumes key project and relationship responsibilities within Technical Operations and represents Blueprint1122 in client-facing sales engagements alongside the Managing Director.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship

  • Lead assigned AVL projects from planning through completion, partnering with the AVL Systems Delivery Manager where responsibilities intersect

  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate onsite project execution to ensure project deliverables, quality standards, budgets and timelines are successfully achieved

  • Provide project management support during campus launches, high-volume seasons and periods of overlapping project activity

  • Translate technical AVL requirements into clear, actionable project plans, timelines and deliverables for stakeholders and vendors

  • Partner in developing and maintaining AVL standards, equipment specifications and integration best practices across all campuses and projects

  • Participate in client meetings and sales engagements with the Managing Director of Blueprint1122, including travel as needed

  • Represent Blueprint1122’s AVL integration capabilities in client-facing conversations, leveraging technical expertise to understand client needs and build trusted relationships

  • Serve as an AVL resource on assigned Blueprint1122 client engagements under the direction of the Logistics and Technical Operations Director, supporting design review, integrator and vendor coordination and submittal review

  • Advise client teams on AVL scope and system standards for assigned engagements, escalating scope, budget and design decisions in accordance with established thresholds

  • Manage assigned Blueprint1122 engagements on a day-to-day basis, working with increasing independence as familiarity with client and project standards develops

  • Support the development of proposals, scopes and client-facing project overviews for prospective AVL engagements

  • Identify and qualify prospective AVL integration opportunities and support the development of new business for Blueprint1122

  • Read and interpret construction documents, architectural drawings and technical plans to support project planning, estimating and sales efforts

  • Partner collaboratively with the AVL Systems Delivery Manager, sharing accountability for the successful planning and execution of church-side AVL projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Project management experience, preferably within AVL integration, construction or a related technical field

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Vectorworks or similar design software preferred

  • Experience in business development, account management, consultative sales or client relationship management preferred

  • Client-facing consulting, owner's representative or technical advisory experience preferred


Expected Hours of Work

Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.


Schedule Expectations: Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working weekends).


The church has several big events "All-Skates" throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This position works across office, warehouse, church and client-site environments and may regularly work in active construction or AVL installation areas. The role requires frequent travel to project and client locations and may involve extended periods of standing, walking and working onsite. The position routinely uses standard office equipment as well as AVL production and integration equipment and may require bending, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders and lifting and/or moving equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may occasionally occur outside of standard business hours based on project schedules, installations, campus launches or client needs.


Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
