Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager on key initiatives including the connection to a new SWIFT Service Bureau and the SWIFT CSP Assessment 2026. The role involves leading the planning, execution, and governance of complex IT projects within the payments and SWIFT environment, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while complying with regulatory and security standards.

The successful candidate will manage project delivery, oversee testing and quality assurance activities, coordinate cross‐functional teams, and engage with senior stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness of SWIFT‐related solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SWIFT‐related IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, resources, and budgets, ensuring effective project governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and change requests, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Provide regular status reporting and updates to project stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Manage and coordinate cross‐functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Oversee test management activities, including defining test strategies, coordinating test environments, and monitoring test execution.
  • Lead defect management and quality assurance processes, ensuring resolution of issues and readiness for release approvals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide Go/No‐Go recommendations for software releases based on quality metrics.
  • Ensure smooth implementation, release, and transition to operations, including supporting change management and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support SWIFT integration and security compliance initiatives.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in the banking sector, ideally within payments or SWIFT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, requirements management, and change management.
  • Experience with test management and quality assurance processes in complex IT projects.
  • Proven ability to manage project planning, budgets, resources, and milestones.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT connectivity or SWIFT CSP security requirements is advantageous.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or Spira.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA) or Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum Master, PSM, CSM, ICP).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
