Job description

Are you a Machine Operator looking to grow your career in manufacturing? This could be the job for you! You will be an integral member of our production team and in this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and learn new processes and machine operations.


4-day work week Monday - Thursday! Day shift - no nights, no weekends!


**HVAC climate-controlled facility**


Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate manual production machines
  • Control and adjust machine settings
  • Feed raw material through machines
  • Straighten and trim tubing using hand tools, small spinning lathes and wet cut off saw
  • Set up and operate melting furnaces
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Maintain activity logs
  • Maintain clean safe work area

Requirements:

  • Machine operator experience in a manufacturing production setting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times throughout shift
  • Able to stand, walk and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to understand and speak English
  • Manual dexterity
  • Visual acuity

This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves walking, standing, and occasional lifting of materials.
