Machining/CNC - SpindleKey Fasteners Corporation is an industry leader in the cold-formed fastener manufacturing sector, with a focus on serving the automotive industry. Our 120,000 sq. ft. facility located in Berne, Indiana produces nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, and engine-critical components. Our fasteners are utilized in a range of vehicles across the globe, playing a crucial role in securing everything from engines to frames, wheel and brake systems, and beyond. Responsibilities: - Sets up and operates multiple spindle machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to perform turning, boring, threading and facing operations on metal formed parts.
- Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
- Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions.
- Start machine, observe operation inspects first run and sample work piece to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
- Remove and install specified tooling during production run and changeovers while making necessary adjustments
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn
- Good attendance
- Mechanical Aptitude
- CNC experience helpful
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- May need to train on a different shift
