Location: Berne, IN, 46711
Machining/CNC - Spindle
Key Fasteners Corporation is an industry leader in the cold-formed fastener manufacturing sector, with a focus on serving the automotive industry. Our 120,000 sq. ft. facility located in Berne, Indiana produces nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, and engine-critical components. Our fasteners are utilized in a range of vehicles across the globe, playing a crucial role in securing everything from engines to frames, wheel and brake systems, and beyond. Our fasteners have earned the trust of numerous OEM's both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
  • Sets up and operates multiple spindle machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to perform turning, boring, threading and facing operations on metal formed parts.
  • Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
  • Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions.
  • Start machine, observe operation inspects first run and sample work piece to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
  • Remove and install specified tooling during production run and changeovers while making necessary adjustments

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good attendance
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • CNC experience helpful
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • May need to train on a different shift
