Who are we hiring?
Reporting to the Senior Director Procurement - Performance & Strategy, The Senior Manager Sphere Ventures & Tech Procurement will lead the development and execution of procurement strategies across the organization for all Sphere Entertainment Co. venues. This position is responsible for supporting, partnering, and collaborating on strategic sourcing strategies for all related spend across Venue Operations and Technology categories.
What will you do?
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for Venue Operations and Technology spend categories
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and implement value-driven procurement solutions
  • Manage category spend analysis and develop actionable insights to optimize procurement performance

Stakeholder Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Sphere venues and technology teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into procurement strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners on procurement best practices and market trends

Supplier Management
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers in alignment with company standards and vendor qualification processes

Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Drive procurement process improvements and standardization across venue operations and technology categories
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Support procurement technology initiatives and system enhancements
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a focus on technology and/or venue operations categories
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with spend analysis and category management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with procurement systems; experience with Coupa preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
  • Collaborative leadership style with a team-oriented mindset
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
