Who We Are
D1 Training is the place for an athlete. A training brand founded by athletes, for athletes, and supported by professional athletes. D1 has expanded it’s presence in the Nashville area via D1 Spring Hill.
We are looking for a full time Strength & Conditioning Coach, with high energy and a passion for their work to deliver high-quality group and individual training.
D1 Training is an athletic-based training facility, focused on building a community of Athletes who can train and reach their goals together. With the backing of professional athletes such as Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning, Jason Witten, Chris Paul and Chipper Jones, our primary goal is to provide a training experience like that of a Division 1 athletic performance program. D1 has coached 1000’s of athletes and teams to reach their goals at all levels with over 75 sites nationwide.
Experiences We Deliver
D1 Training delivers experiences including Group Training, Private Training (D1on1), Small Group Training (D1 Overtime), Team Training, and Virtual Training (D1toU).
Our Coaches
Our Coaches provide an elite-level training experience, typically only available to world-class collegiate and professional athletes. Our 5-Star Training System utilizes science-backed training and programming to develop high-level speed, agility, strength, and conditioning.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Nationally recognized & accredited certification: CSCS / NASM / ACE / ISSA / ACSM
  • First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification
  • 1+ years of Strength & Conditioning coaching experience
  • Timeliness, initiative, teamwork, and attention to detail are non-negotiable
  • Drive to constantly improve and grow both personally and professionally
  • Ability to demonstrate high-quality exercise technique safely and effectively
  • Ability to regress and progress exercises efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to educate on training and injury prevention
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate with both youth and adult athletes
  • Outgoing, positive, and encouraging demeanor
  • Part time availability to include mornings, evenings, and weekends; schedule is flexible
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field)
  • Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
  • Experience in group, 1 on 1, small group, and team training settings
  • Proficiency in performing and coaching the Olympic Lifts
  • Understanding of nutrition and how it relates to training
Primary Responsibilities/Expectations
  • Fulfill daily/weekly coaching duties as assigned by the General Manager and Head Coach
  • Provide a consistent and high-quality training experience for all D1 Athletes
  • Have in-depth knowledge of all D1 Training offerings
  • Assist in growth and maintenance of membership base by providing high-level training
  • Be a D1 Training Ambassador by leading on and off-site training
  • Contribute to brand awareness through community events, seasonal programs, camps, and clinics
  • Contribute to the creation of daily/weekly social media content
  • Possess conflict resolution skills and the ability to share constructive feedback with Athletes and parents
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the training facility and equipment
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures
