Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care travel assignment in Seaford, Delaware. Start date 08/31/2026 for 19 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: LTC – Nursing Home with acute care responsibilities. Weekly pay range: $2,496–$2,612. This assignment is available through Healthforce Healthcare LLC and includes a $2,000 quickstart bonus. The role may involve a split assignment with another facility in the Seaford area.

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluation and treatment planning for residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans; document progress in the medical record.
- Conduct swallowing safety screening and assessment; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for nutrition and aspiration risk management.
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy colleagues, and dietary staff to optimize communication access and quality of life; provide caregiver and family education as appropriate.
- Complete required documentation, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure timely chart updates.
Requirements
- Active Delaware business license to staff in DE
- Must have an account with the DHSS Background Check Center and complete mandatory background checks/fingerprinting
- Eligible to practice Speech Language Pathology and hold applicable credentials for licensure in the United States
- Ability to work in a long-term care/nursing home setting with acute care responsibilities
- Availability to begin on 08/31/2026 for a 19-week assignment
