A renowned group private practice is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their team in the Des Moines metro. This is Iowa's largest physician-owned gastroenterology practice and offers an exceptional combination of work/life balance, strong clinical support, and a quick track to partnership and ASC ownership, all within one of the Midwest's fastest-growing cities.

This is an independent, physician-owned practice established for over 50 years that provides a full spectrum of gastroenterology services including general GI, colon cancer screening and prevention, IBD management, hepatology, and advanced endoscopic procedures. The group emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining the operational flexibility and decision-making autonomy that comes with private practice ownership. A key differentiator is its integrated ambulatory surgery center model, which allows for streamlined procedural scheduling, operational efficiency, and enhanced patient experience.

Position Highlights:

-Open to General GI and Advanced Endoscopists (IBD is a plus)

-Team includes 10 Gastroenterologists and 9 APPs

-Equal call schedule: 1:9 call with weekend coverage

-Nurse Practitioners to see clinic and help with call/inpatient rounding

-Typical daily volume is around 14-16 procedures per day

-Quick track to partnership and ASC ownership

-Infusion center, research program, and pathology revenue streams
