Engineer, Design Verification Test - 100% Onsite, Boulder, Colorado

Compensation - $90,000-120,000/ year. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate's actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience within the range.
This is a Full Time, On Site Direct Hire Exempt Position
TheEngineer, Design Verification Testis responsible for validation of emerging markets storage solutions.
Day-to-day activities may include:
Designing functional test plans and test cases using a variety of technologies that are precise, accurate, repeatable, maintainable, and clean.
Executing functional test cases, tracking, and issue reporting
Performing root cause analysis on issues found to develop regression tests.
Working closely with Engineering development departments within Spectra to facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the Test group for new projects and products.
Effectively communicating with other development groups to provide all necessary information needed to fix the bugs found.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Strong analytical, diagnosis, and troubleshooting skills.
5+ years of industry experience.
Experience with basic System Administrator for Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
Ability to work in an Agile environment where requirements and priorities can change very quickly.
Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail.
A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently with little supervision and share workload in team settings.

Switch (Ethernet, SAS, Fibre Channel) and Hypervisor (VMware, Proxmox, etc.) knowledge and experience.

Storage protocol (S3 Object, NAS, SCSI, SAS, Tape) knowledge and experience.
