Job description

Contract 4-6 months +
We are looking for a Network Technician to support an project updating/ swap-out of network switches and Wireless Access Points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with switches and WAP hardware, using common handheld tools such as screwdrivers, voltage meters, cable tie tools, wire strippers, network testers, and RJ45 crimpers.
This role will focus on physical replacement work only (no programming or configuration at this time), with
additional responsibilities including cable management after equipment swaps.
Responsibilities:
โ€ขSwapping out network switches and WAPs (Wireless Access Point) for school district.
โ€ขExp with network switches and WAP.
โ€ขUse Handheld tools such as Screwdrivers, Voltage Meters, Cable Tie Tool, Wire Stripper,
Network Tester, and RJ45 crimper
โ€ขSwapping switches and/or WAPS, out for new ones.
โ€ขCable management may also need to be done after swap.
Requirements:
โ€ขRequires lifting up to 25lbs, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
โ€ขUS Citizen
โ€ขPass drug test and background check prior to start.
1st and 2nd shift available
