Job description

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to support growth in our Dallas, TX region. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong prospecting skills, the ability to build rapport quickly, and a proven track record of generating new business. Success in this position requires a high-performance mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Extensive travel throughout the territory is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through self-generated leads, networking, and market research.
  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote company products and services.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to understand business needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends within the territory.
  • Prepare and provide sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met and projects are executed successfully.
  • Represent the company professionally while promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory approximately 75% of the time, including occasional overnight travel as business needs require.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales, territory management, or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, develop new business, and achieve sales goals.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
  • Experience within construction, building materials, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries preferred.
