Histotechnician / Medical Assistant

Overview & Highlights

Location: Chandler, Casa Grande, Sun City, Gold Canyon (rotating schedule; estimated 1 day per location per week)

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $28-$30/hour + $200/month travel allowance

About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life

This is a unique hybrid role that blends hands-on patient care with technical histology work in a fast-paced dermatology setting. You'll split your time between assisting providers during procedures and preparing tissue samples critical to accurate diagnosis-particularly within a Mohs surgery environment.

On the clinical side, you'll work closely with dermatology providers, preparing patients, assisting with procedures like biopsies and excisions, and supporting post-procedure care.   • Educate patients on post-procedure care and treatment plans

Histotechnician Duties

  • Prepare, process, and embed tissue specimens
