Job description


The Retail Stock Associate provides excellent customer service for both internal and external guests. He or she ensures merchandise is transferred from the receiving dock to the sales floor. The Retail Stock Associate receives, unpacks, and delivers merchandise. He or she ensures that the back stock is put away in the stockrooms. All retail Team Members should be outgoing, upbeat, energetic, and dependable. MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
Responsibilities
  • Safely lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads throughout the shift.
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding retail environment while standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards by adhering to uniform and grooming requirements, including wearing a name tag at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and providing assistance as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Caesars Rewards program, hotel amenities, and property offerings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Communicate daily operational updates and shift activities to team members and supervisors to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Respond promptly to pages, requests, and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a positive, productive, and service-focused work environment.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to company scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance policies.
  • Receive, unload, unpack, and process merchandise shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify incoming deliveries and report inventory discrepancies or shipment issues to the Supervisor on Duty.
  • Replenish stock, beverages, and retail merchandise to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Receive and manage deliveries of Pepsi products, liquor, wine, beer, and other retail goods.
  • Transport merchandise from receiving docks and storage areas to retail locations.
  • Stock coolers, replenish sales floors, and move merchandise from remote storage locations as required.
  • Ensure stores are adequately supplied with operational materials, including bags, tissue paper, bubble wrap, and other supplies.
  • Conduct inventory counts, maintain accurate stock records, and complete on-hand inventory logs as required.
  • Organize and maintain stockrooms to ensure clean, safe, and efficient storage areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate overstock, low-stock, and out-of-stock conditions to management.
  • Assist with inventory transfers between store locations and support inventory control processes.
  • Monitor alcohol and beer inventory levels and assist with ordering when applicable.
  • Maintain stockroom and storage area cleanliness through regular housekeeping, dusting, and organization.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the Supervisor on Duty.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company standards.
  • Attend required meetings, training sessions, and company-sponsored events.
  • Support special projects, associate sales, inventory activities, and retail events as assigned.
  • Handle guest interactions professionally, including situations involving intoxicated guests.
  • Adapt to varying shifts and schedules based on business demands while maintaining high service and operational standards.
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and management.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 1 year customer service experience required.
  • 1 year Retail Stock experience required.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
  • Knowledge of basic math.
